Delivery and payment
1. Delivery Methods:
- Express Delivery: For small motorcycle parts, such as spark plugs, filters, and small decorative parts, which are light and small in size, express delivery is used. We cooperate with express companies such as SF Express and ZTO Express. Based on the customer's order address, delivery to most parts of the country usually takes 1-3 days. Merchants charge by piece or weight. After the customer places an order, the warehouse quickly packs and hands it over to the express company for collection. Customers can track logistics information in real time, which is convenient and fast, and can meet the urgent needs of motorcycle repair shops and individual car owners in a timely manner.
- Freight Forwarding: When it comes to large motorcycle parts, such as engine assemblies and frames, freight forwarding is advantageous. They focus on fixed-line transportation and have relatively low costs. Merchants concentrate goods to local freight stations, and after the freight company transports them to nearby stations, customers (usually motorcycle dealers and large repair shops) pick up the goods themselves. Transportation time usually takes 3-7 days, depending on the distance. This ensures the transportation of large parts while controlling costs.
- Same-City Delivery: In local motorcycle parts markets of a certain scale, same-city delivery can achieve same-day delivery or even delivery within hours for customers in the same city, especially motorcycle repair shops that urgently need parts. Merchants use their own delivery vehicles or cooperate with platforms such as Flash Delivery and Dada to deliver time-sensitive parts such as brake discs and chains in a timely manner, ensuring that motorcycles can be quickly repaired and put into use.
2. Payment Methods:
- Online Payment: This is currently the mainstream payment method for domestic trade. Through e-commerce platforms such as Taobao and JD.com, or the company's self-built online sales system, customers can directly pay via Alipay or WeChat Pay when placing an order. Funds arrive in the merchant's account immediately (after deducting platform fees), which is convenient and fast, facilitates the merchant's capital turnover, and is also convenient for customers to purchase, allowing them to place orders and pay anytime, anywhere.
- Bank Transfer: For some long-term cooperating motorcycle dealer customers with large transaction amounts, bank transfers are often used between enterprises. After the buyer and seller sign a contract, the buyer transfers money through corporate online banking or a counter based on the bank account and bank information specified in the contract. The arrival time depends on the bank's processing procedures, generally 1-2 working days. This method has clear and traceable transaction records, suitable for public business, and the financial transactions between the two parties are clear.
- Cash on Delivery: For some local customers or first-time cooperating customers who are not very reassured, merchants can provide cash-on-delivery service. When the courier delivers the goods, the customer pays cash or scans the code to pay the courier after confirming that there are no problems. This provides customers with a certain degree of trust guarantee, especially for some high-priced imported motorcycle-specific parts. Customers worry about quality issues, so cash on delivery makes them feel more at ease. However, for merchants, there is a certain risk of payment collection, such as customer rejection, so the scope of application is usually carefully selected.
